Sorry I’ve been so inactive. I’m sure my last journal sounded like a goodbye, and it kind of is, but not an immediate one. I don’t plan stopping my activity here anytime soon, I’m going to stay as long as I possibly can, so no need to worry. I’ve also been away from my laptop so I haven’t done any digital art lately, and on top of that: it’s my winter break so I’m decompressing after my finals (which I passed!! Thank goodness)
On a more cheery note! Me being on break also means I have plenty of time to work on the updates! Ahhh they’ve been sitting in my folder for so long and you’ve all been so patient. I’m probably going to redraw one page, but the others are fine thus far. I have 1.13-1.19 completely sketched and some are lined. After that it’s just the process of coloring and all that good stuff :>

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates for Riptide lately. I’ve been working on making a ton of pages so I can have a couple buffers, and then that way you hopefully won’t have to wait for pages as long and I can have a semi-normal update schedule! ;v; I currently have up to 1.18 completely sketched out, then once I have up to around 1.20 sketched, I’ll finish up 1.13 and post it! ;v;
On another note. It’s crazy to think Riptide as a comic is almost a year old already! When SUMO were first announced, I didn’t plan on doing a blind nuzlocke but I did plan on doing a nuzlocke. That changed to a blind nuzlocke because I felt it would be an interesting and new challenge. I actually planned on doing a Black 2 Nuzlocke featuring Chance as the main character, going through his journey as a single dad trying to provide for his young daughter after the death of his wife. But then I realized I forgot to take notes. Which sucks because this was a run where a random ass shiny appeared, but oh well. I would have called his run “Take a Chance on Me” Anyways there’s some trivia for you about Riptide. Thank you all for continuing to support this comic, it means the world to me!
